Young’s Help For Heroes
Young’s pub group presented a cheque this week to their nominated charity Help For Heroes for the amazing total of £41,500, which was raised between September and December of last year.
The bulk of the money was raised during its 180th anniversary celebrations throughout September; with all 122 Young’s pubs joining in the fun, offering customers complimentary birthday cake, special drinks offers, a cask ale festival and a free pint for every customer on the 21st September, the date of Young’s 180th birthday.
Young’s Chief Executive Stephen Goodyear commented, “I am delighted that the hard work and commitment of the Young’s team has resulted in a substantial sum donated to such a worthy cause”.
