YO! SUSHI Guilford
YO! Sushi will be opening their 62nd UK restaurant in the heart of Guilford’s busy Friary Street shopping district on 4th June.
YO! Sushi Guildford will cater to the ever-increasing demand for fresh Japanese cuisine continuing to sweep fast-casual diners both in the region and nationwide.
The restaurant will feature the trademark ‘kaiten’ conveyor belt which has become a focal point for diners and the only similarity between their unique restaurant designs.
With 10 booth seats and 27 stools, created by Philip Watts Design, the overall theme of the interior incorporates a number of exciting design features to depict the frenetic culture found in downtown Tokyo.
Floor to ceiling glass windows at the front of the restaurant provide natural light and to contrast, the opposing slate wall will feature embedded bespoke slate tile lights and glass flower wall lights, to illuminate. Overhanging white bespoke ‘cloud’ shaped lights and cork ceiling rafts create a sense of movement throughout.
Diners can enjoy a wide variety of Japanese inspired dishes from the belt including soups, traditional sashimi, rice and noodle based dishes, salads, and hot classics like chicken katsu curry, salmon teriyaki, vegetable firecracker rice and prawn yakisoba noodles.
Adding to the extensive menu of over 90 dishes; Japanese beers and sake accompany a carefully selected wine list.

YO! Sushi Guildford will be open from Monday to Saturday 12pm-11pm and Sunday 12pm-10pm.
