Eaux de Vie
For the first time at LIWF, Eaux de Vie will be showing the Mezan range of single cask rums.
Bottled in August 2011, the vintage rums are unblended from individual islands and countries in the West Indies and South or Central America, produced from a single vintage year’s distillation, aged in oak Barrique and bottled one cask at a time, when mature, under the supervision of our cellar master.
These rums are unblended, unsweetened, uncoloured and have been filtered through only a light gauze with no chill-filtration.
They have not been aged in wine casks or finished in those used for other spirits, and are a true expression of the distillery and country of production with each set of casks having a unique flavour profile which cannot be repeated.
The company works in all sectors of the industry offering branded and bespoke products to supermarkets, department stores, wine merchants and restaurants and bars.
Eaux de Vie is the number one importer of very special spirits and now part of Marussia Beverages BV. Literally translated the term means water of life, and just as the phrase has evolved to mean all spirits, Eaux de Vie now imports the largest range of spirits into the United Kingdom.
