Cherish Chocolates
Cherish Chocolates’ ‘Best-Mint’, a fresh, hand-made mint chocolate, has won a coveted 2012 Great Taste Gold Star Award. This follows a Gold Star Award last year for the Company’s ‘Ginger Dream’ chocolate.
The Great Taste Awards form part of the Guild of Fine Food’s annual Great Taste accreditation scheme, which saw 8,807 food and drink products blind-tasted and whittled down over the course of 45 days by 350 experts.
Judges this year included Masterchef winner and restaurateur Mat Follas, restaurant critic and Masterchef judge Charles Campion, food writers Lucas Hollweg and Xanthe Clay, and more than 300 food buyers from leading food halls, delicatessens and farm shops, including Harrods, Selfridges and Fortnum & Mason.
Award winners Cherish Chocolates, based in Bucks, offer hand-made-to-order, luxury chocolates, truffles, lollipops and bars, fresh out of the kitchen. With more than 55 stunning varieties for discerning palates, all Cherish Chocolates’ products are ‘free from’ gluten, nuts, synthetics, egg and hydrogenated fat.
